“ Everything is good here. Two of us had the barbecued pulled pork sandwich. Our other friend ordered the rib tips, thick and tasty! Local, independent, reasonably priced. They make and sell their own bbq sauce. The mustard (hint of sweetness) potato salad is just like my mom would make. Pies are well made, quality. I had the key lime to go after they literally opened one to let us taste. Staff are warm, friendly, responsive, knowledgeable. Not the know-nothings like you will find in some of the local bbq chains. No frills simple tables. Great beer selection. Get in here. These folks have a dozen years in this local joint and decades of restaurant experience! ”

“ Pretty solid bbq, the pulled pork and brisket were fine...the burnt ends could've used a bit more caramelization. We tried a handful of sides, the ones that I'd reorder were the mac'n cheese and potato salad. We tried their lemon cream pie, which is an "ice box" variety, which was liked by all four of us. I would consider revisiting when I'm back in town. Service was friendly and attentive, and the smokers out front get your nose's attention from down the road. If you're local and haven't stopped by, it is worth your drive. ”
“ Love! We ordered burnt ends, potato salad, and a pork slider. The meat is perfectly smoked and with the dry rub, full of that barbecue flavor when it arrives at the table sans sauce. Sauce is served on the side and warmed. Though the meat was delicious, I wanted to try the sauce. It's so tasty ~ with just a hint of kick. Thankfully they bottle the stuff so you can take some home! We were too full to try the pie, but word is is that it's worth a visit just for dessert. Service is prompt and friendly. Our waitress was perfection. The family-friendly vibe made for an easy Saturday night out, and there are plenty of things for the kids to eat (Mac and Cheese, anyone?) Ample parking, indoor and outdoor seating. A fun place, fun and friendly people, yummy food! ”

“ Nice little restaurant that's inside a converted home. A little over the top on the Americana decorations. The place is clean but a little crowded. Monika was our server. She was quick and efficient. Fast to get our food to us and fast to get the ticket to us. This is the best BBQ place in Pensacola. They slow smoke the meat outside starting at 2am. The pulled pork plate is worth the money. Their sauce is served warm so it does not cool off the meat. The sauce is ok but the meat makes it up. ”
